1. Introduction

These Terms of Business govern the provision of services by Neveen Galal Ltd trading as Neveen Galal Immigration Advisory Consultancy (“NGIAC”, “we”, “us” and “our”).

By instructing NGIAC, you agree to these Terms of Business.

2. Our Services

NGIAC provides immigration consultancy, advisory and case management services including:

Services may be provided remotely or by appointment at agreed office locations.

3. Regulatory Information

NGIAC is not itself a regulated law firm.

Neveen Galal is a Solicitor of England and Wales (SRA No. 336313).

Where legal advice, legal representation, reserved legal activities or regulated legal services are required, such services may be delivered through appropriately authorised and regulated legal practices.

Where work is undertaken through a regulated law firm, clients will be informed of the identity of the relevant firm and any additional terms applicable to that engagement.

4. Scope of Instructions

We will confirm the scope of our instructions at the outset of each matter.

Our services are limited to the work specifically agreed with you.

Any additional work requested may require a separate agreement and additional fees.

5. Client Responsibilities

Failure to provide accurate or complete information may adversely affect your matter.

6. No Guarantee of Outcome

Immigration applications are decided by the relevant authorities.

While we will use reasonable skill and care in providing services, we cannot guarantee the success of any application, appeal or immigration matter.

Any estimates regarding prospects of success are opinions only and not guarantees.

Fees will be agreed separately and confirmed in writing.

By instructing us, you consent to the processing of personal information necessary for the provision of our services.

10. Electronic Communications

We routinely communicate by email, telephone and electronic platforms.

While we take reasonable precautions, electronic communications may not always be secure.

You accept the risks associated with electronic communications.

11. Third-Party Services

We may liaise with:

  • Government departments;
  • Immigration authorities;
  • Employers and sponsors;
  • Barristers and solicitors;
  • Regulated law firms;
  • Translators;
  • Other professional advisers.

We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third parties.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to the above, our total liability arising from the provision of services shall be limited to the amount paid by the client for the relevant matter.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate instructions at any time by written notice.

We may cease acting where:

We aim to acknowledge complaints within five working days and provide a substantive response within twenty-eight days.

Where work has been undertaken through a regulated law firm, clients may also have access to that firm’s complaints procedure.

NGIAC is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and will not unlawfully discriminate against any person.

Reasonable adjustments will be made where appropriate.

16. File Retention

Client files will generally be retained for a minimum period of six years following closure of the matter unless a longer period is required by law or risk management considerations.

17. Governing Law

These Terms of Business shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

By instructing NGIAC, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms of Business.
